The American Film Institute is a Government recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and holds tax-exempt status. Please contact us for additional help.

Help comes in many forms. We will gratefully accept any in-kind donations (services, goods, hands on set, etc) which are also eligible for a tax deduction on the full retail value. Please contact us and let us know if you would like to make an in-kind donation.

Below is a list of the major budget items.
Locations
We hope to shoot at an actual biology lab on UCLA’s campus.
Production Design
We need to create the mysterious flower, but also to fill the laboratory spaces with professional scientific equipment, as well as other locations with set pieces and props. Your support will help our art department to give the world its color and personality.
Sound Design
This is a film about learning to listen again. As such, much of the narrative hinges on sound and we will be working with a professional sound designer early in the process to create a comprehensive aural landscape.
Visual Effects
We will be working with top VFX houses in Los Angeles to animate the flower at key moments in the story.
